  4. Thanks for registering Printscreen 95. I have recently re-designed the
  5. program, and I'm sure you will be happy with the new format, but I thought
  6. I had better include a description of the new operating characteristics and
  7. enhancements in case you downloaded a prior version.

  9. The new version re-defines the PRINT KEY on the keyboard to function as
  10. a "real" screen print key, and allows you to print the entire screen by
  11. selecting PRINT, and will just print the active window if ALT + PRINT are
  12. pressed together. The feature may be disabled with the radio button on the 
  13. form, which allows images to be copied to the clipboard and pasted into
  14. and out of different applications, as is typically done in Windows. 
  15. Version 2.2 now supports printing 256 color bitmap images, unlike the first
  16. version which was limited to 16 color printing. An option is also provided to 
  17. save the screen or active window image to a .BMP file.

  19. The program operates by capturing the image loaded to the clipboard as the 
  20. print key is pressed, sending it to be printed, and then then clears the 
  21. contents of the clipboard to anticipate the next print screen operation. It
  22. therefore becomes necessary to disable the program when "normal" usage of 
  23. the clipboard is required. Let me know if you have any problems installing
  24. or operating the program.
